The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin AOS 4.25 combines classic 1911 handling with modern optic capability in a lightweight 9mm pistol. Its forged aluminum alloy frame helps keep the pistol at approximately 31 ounces, while the forged carbon steel slide provides durable, reliable operation. The 4.25-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel uses a traditional barrel bushing system for a familiar 1911 configuration. The AOS optic-ready slide accepts the included Viridian RFX-11 Green Dot through the DeltaPoint Pro footprint mounting system. Integral rear sights on the optic plate maintain a practical sight picture and co-witnessing capability. Crossed Cannon wood laminate grips, a bobbed hammer, skeletonized trigger, beavertail grip safety, and manual thumb safety complete the carry-oriented design.
