The Dan Wesson Specialist is a full-size 1911-style pistol chambered in 10mm Auto and built around a forged stainless steel frame and slide. Its five-inch stainless barrel and single-action operation provide a familiar platform for range use, duty applications, and hunting or field carry. Fixed tritium night sights use an amber rear dot and a green front dot with a white target ring for fast sight alignment in varied lighting. An integral 1913 Picatinny rail supports compatible accessories, while the undercut trigger guard, 25 lines-per-inch front strap checkering, recessed slide stop, and detachable magwell improve handling. Black and brown G10 VZ Operator II grips, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety complete the operator-focused configuration.
