Product Overview

The Phase 5 Weapon Systems FATman Hex Brake is a 5.56x45mm NATO competition-style muzzle brake built to reduce recoil and improve follow-up shot control. It uses two large ventilated FAT baffle sections and expansion chambers to generate compensating forces while maintaining the barrel’s accuracy potential. The brake’s design places the first chamber wall close to the barrel crown plane, and it includes two top ports angled 20 Deg. forward to help manage muzzle rise for more consecutive hits.
