The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion Maple is a right-handed bolt action hunting rifle chambered in 6.8 Western. Its AAAA maple stock features classic checkering, rosewood fore-end and grip-cap accents, and a refined gloss finish. The steel receiver, sporter-contour barrel, and bottom metal feature a polished blued finish that complements the traditional stock design. A 24-inch barrel and 44-inch overall length provide a practical balance of velocity, stability, and field maneuverability. The action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws, while the barrel is free floated to support consistent accuracy. The redesigned action, spiral-fluted bolt, ergonomic bolt knob, and short 60-degree lift make cycling smooth and efficient. A top-tang manual safety works with the bolt unlock button for safer chamber checks and unloading. The rifle also includes an adjustable DLX Trigger, detachable 3-round rotary magazine, threaded muzzle, radial-style muzzle brake, and thread protector. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, but no optic or factory sights are included.
