Ambidextrous safety levers can be easily activated with the right or left thumb and an extended beaver tail allows shooters to get a high and tight purchase on the pistol for better control without having to deal with hammer or slide bite. 1911 style controls such as its single action trigger, extended manual safety and grip safety make it a familiar platform, but this is a fully modern pistol. The slide is optics ready with a footprint that accepts optics with the popular Shield RMS/RMSc mounting footprint. Additionally, a Picatinny accessory rail allows the user to attach a weaponlight or laser aiming module, making this a great pistol for defense, duty, or competition.
