The RIS II rail interface was developed for SOCOM requirements and designed to support free-floating the M203 grenade launcher without requiring additional parts. This rifle also features the RIS II top-rail cutout to accommodate a standard front sight base on a carbine-length gas system, keeping the front sight solution aligned with the intended setup.
