The Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Waterfowl is a rugged pump-action shotgun built around the demanding requirements of waterfowl hunting. Its overbored 28-inch vent-rib barrel is designed to produce effective shot patterns with reduced felt recoil and muzzle jump. The 835 accepts 2 3/4-inch, 3-inch, and 3 1/2-inch shells, making it suitable for a broad range of hunting loads. A Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades camouflage finish covers the aluminum receiver and synthetic stock for a practical field profile. The tubular magazine holds 4+1 rounds, while the tang-mounted manual safety offers intuitive operation. Dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, and an anti-jam elevator provide smooth and reliable pump cycling. The shotgun includes a fiber optic front bead and Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder choke tubes. Factory standard models do not include a pre-installed optic or threaded barrel.
