The Derya Firearms DY9 Island Kit is a compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around the company’s Island Barrel Design. Its barrel shifts mass forward and uses four top-mounted gas ports to help reduce muzzle rise for flatter recoil and quicker follow-up shots. The pistol features a Black Melonite steel slide and barrel, a polymer frame, a fixed front sight, and an RMR-footprint optic cut for a compatible red dot sight. Its ergonomic grip accepts four interchangeable backstraps, allowing shooters to tailor the fit. The DY9 accepts magazines compatible with STK100, STK200, Glock 17, and Glock 19 platforms and is supplied with three magazines plus a practical cleaning and storage accessory set.
