The Colt Combat Unit CCU Commander is a compact 1911-style pistol built around a lightweight aluminum frame and a Commander-length slide. Its 4.25-inch National Match stainless steel barrel supports consistent accuracy, while the black DLC slide and black anodized frame provide a durable factory finish. Novak front and rear sights, angled slide serrations, an undercut trigger guard, and 25 LPI checkering support practical handling. Custom scalloped gray G10 grips, an extended magwell, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and ambidextrous thumb safeties provide secure control for carry, training, and range use. The Series 80 firing system adds an internal firing pin safety while preserving the familiar single-action 1911 operating system.
