The LWRC IC MKII 5.56 Pistol in OD Green, is LWRC Internationals direct replacement for their best selling IC A5 series of AR15 Pistols and rifles. This LWRC IC-MKII Pistol is LWRC’s new flagship Short Stoke Gas Piston 5.56 AR-15 Pistol with 12.7 inch spiral fluted barrel, and it features many new upgrades. These upgrades include, their new 12 inch M-LOK Handguard, Improved butterfly style gas key and REPR MKII style machining on its mono-forged upper receiver and handguard. Its new M-LOK handguard is designed for easy removal and re-installation, via its two handguard tension screws located at the base of the handguard, next to its receiver. Furthermore, the new M-LOK handguard has windows machined in the front of the handguard to access its butterfly gas key. This OD Green LWRC IC MKII 5.56 Pistol’s Spiral Fluted Barrel is twenty percent lighter and more rigid than a none fluted barrel. Furthermore, the barrels Nicorr barrel treatment permeates into the barrels pores, creating a thinner and stronger bond than chrome lining. It also, more than doubles the barrels life over traditional chrome lining, and it is a more accurized barrel treatment as well. The LWRC IC-MKII Pistol, features LWRC’s ultra strong one piece bolt carrier with rear ward relief cuts, its one piece design eliminates the gas key and the two gas key screws, that are the week point of a traditional bolt carrier. Also, its reward relief cuts are designed for water born missions, these relief cuts allow water and debris to pass by the bolt carrier when fired with water in the receiver and barrel without damaging or destroying the firearm. All LWRC IC-MKII 5.56 Pistols are ambidextrous, including the charging Handel, safeties, bolt release – bolt catch and mag release, making it perfect for both right and left handed shooters.
