The Carbon Stalker from Howa takes their solid 1500 action and approaches it from the lighting it for those long hike hunts. The base of this lightened hunting rifle is where the carbon stalker gets its name the special carbon fiber wrapped stock that give a solid resting point for the barrel and action with its Accublock bedding. This bedding supports the forged steel action known for its repeatability and is forged to provide maximum strength. The barrel is a of good quality and is threaded for use of installing a muzzle device or NFA items. The stock also comes with a premium recoil pad to better handle recoil in larger calibers.
