The Taylor’s & Company Runnin Iron Deluxe is a purpose-built single-action .45 Colt revolver designed for mounted shooting and fast, reliable handling in demanding competition environments. Its compact 3.5-inch barrel, balanced frame, low and wide hammer spur, wide trigger, and reduced-power spring kit provide efficient operation while maintaining the classic handling characteristics of a single-action revolver. The deluxe configuration receives custom tuning, custom hammer and base-pin springs, a crisp three-pound trigger pull, jig-cut trigger and sear engagement surfaces, a coil-loaded hand, and a wire bolt. Checkered one-piece walnut gunfighter grips, a crescent-style ejector rod, a transverse cylinder-pin latch, and additional cylinder clearance complete the competition-focused setup.
